Prolumia attaches great importance to helping you make the right choice. After the municipality of Den Helder had become acquainted with the Icon conical luminaire from the LED Urban series, it wanted to provide a location for a test set-up. Prolumia then took care of the light calculation and provided several demo fixtures. After a successful trial in which the both the calculations and the light experience were very good, the municipality of Den Helder decided to provide the entire Boatex residential area with the Icon, including public squares and plazas within the residential area. The municipality found the design of the Icon seamlessly in line with the very contemporary architectural style. An extensive lighting plan has been made in which the most suitable optics and the desired amount of light have been looked at. A pre-programmed dimming regime also has been built in, whereby the lighting is dimmed to 60% at night.
