Lighting with low UGR applied in schools
Project information

Schools prepare students for the future. Unfortunately, school buildings are often somewhat older and do not always keep up with times. For that reason, Kernbouw BV creates maintenance and sustainability plans for various schools. With solar panels and LED lighting, among other things, they not only manage to reduce energy consumption to 0, they also provide an optimal work and learning place for students, with good lighting. Because too often it still happens that lighting within schools is not in order, as a result of students fatigue and lose concentration. Prolumia has developed a lighting plan for two schools in which that is a thing of the past. By using LED lighting with a low UGR, including the Pro-Office and our Downlight (4000K, 14W), the entire school is equipped with good lighting. Now not only everyone has been given a good place to work and learn, but the schools are also on their way to an energy consumption of 0 kWh.
